CETaL Fellows
CETaL Fellows are full-time UTEP faculty and select administrators who have shown a strong commitment to teaching and have demonstrated teaching excellence in their own practice. By becoming a CETaL Fellow a faculty member takes on a formal, leadership role to promote effective teaching and learning at UTEP and in the El Paso community. CETaL Fellows are selected through a nomination process and appointed by their college deans to a term of three years. There are two or three fellows representing each UTEP college at any given time. Fellows may also be appointed from other instructional units (e.g., Library, Tutoring and Learning, etc.) upon recommendation by the current Fellows, up to a manageable body 20 active Fellows at any given time.
